As can be expected, the hiking trails in and around the Camps Bay area run off Table Mountain.
India Fenster is a popular and beautiful trail on Table Mountain.
Pipe Track Trail is an easy, enjoyable walk on the famous flat-topped Mountain. It starts at the top of Kloof Nek and follows the old water pipe along the top of Camps Bay. It comprises a few up and downs but is otherwise flat. The views over the Bay and up the 12 Apostles are spectacular.
Lions Head. The walk to the top of Lions Head is popular. It takes one about 90 minutes and is fairly easy. There are some chains and ladders which will need negotiating, especially nearer the summit of the climb.
The views of the city of Cape Town, Table Mountain and the beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton. are spectacular, making this walk well worthwhile.
Table Mountain Hike (Cape Town Central) A fairly challenging 3 hour hike up the front of Table Mountain, above the city centre. This is the most popular of all routes up the mountain. Once at the top, it is very flat with great views over the city and Peninsula.
